About 365 Challenge

A simple annual target. A full year to reach it.

365 Challenge started in 2016 as a challenge between friends. Compatible with Strava, it turns the activities you already record into points, progress and friendly group competition.

How to play

The rules are simple.

01

Create your free account

There is no paid tier, no subscription, and no card required.

02

Connect Strava

365 needs Strava access to import your activities and calculate points automatically.

03

Earn points through the year

Your score combines active days, activity points, monthly bonuses and diamond challenges.

04

Compete with your friends and family

Create or join groups to compare progress without making every session a race.

Scoring

What counts toward your score.

Your goal is to reach 365 points between January 1 and December 31, 2026. The scoring model rewards consistency first, then adds points for effort and optional challenges.

Active day +1 point for any day with 20+ recorded minutes, capped at 12 active-day points per month
Running 0.5 points per km if running is your selected foot-activity preference
Walking 0.5 points per km in January 2026, then 0.4 points per km from February 1, if walking is your selected foot-activity preference
Cycling Outdoor rides earn 0.25 points per km. Indoor rides earn 0.25 points per km in January 2026, then 0.2 points per km from February 1
Swimming 2 points per km
Workouts 2.5 points per hour for gym, HIIT, weights, rowing, climbing and similar workout activities. Workout points are doubled in October
Games 2 points per hour for racket sports, football, golf and similar games
Monthly bonus Extra points for that month's challenge, shown on your dashboard
Diamonds One-off bonus challenges for variety, also shown on your dashboard
Running or walking preference: you choose one foot-activity preference on your profile. The selected type earns distance points; the other can still count as an active day when it reaches 20 minutes. Other activity types can count as active days too, but only the categories above earn distance or time points.

Multiple activities on the same day can still add activity points, but they do not stack as multiple active days.

Community

Competitive, but still human.

365 has always had a broad mix of people: runners, cyclists, walkers, gym users, swimmers, people returning to fitness, and people who simply like having a reason to get out.

The leaderboard is there to make the year more engaging, not to make the challenge exclusive. The best version of 365 is the one that keeps people moving together for longer.
